CheckHer Safety
CheckHer is a place for adults to share personal dating and relationship experiences, reflect on what happened, and learn from the experiences of others.
CheckHer is not a platform for revenge, exposing people, harassment, humiliation, punishment, or organizing attacks against another person.
Focus on what you personally experienced, how it affected you, and what you learned. Describe behaviors, situations, and relationship patterns instead of using CheckHer to attack someone's character.
Personal opinions are allowed, but users should make it clear when they are describing their own perspective rather than presenting speculation as an established fact.
Better
"I felt like communication was difficult because problems were often avoided instead of discussed."
Not acceptable
"This person is horrible. Everyone should stay away from them."
Share your own dating and relationship experiences.
Describe what happened from your perspective.
Explain how situations made you feel and how they affected you.
Discuss red flags, green flags, communication, compatibility, boundaries, and relationship patterns.
Share lessons you learned from past relationships.
Ask for advice or discuss another user's Experience respectfully.
Disagree with other users without insulting or targeting them.
Revenge posts, humiliation, targeted harassment, or attempts to destroy someone's reputation.
Threats, intimidation, blackmail, or encouragement for other people to contact or target someone.
Doxxing or publishing information intended to help strangers identify, locate, contact, or harass someone.
Full legal names, home addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, schools, or other unnecessary private identifying information.
Private messages, private conversations, intimate material, or other private content shared without the necessary permission.
Knowingly false information, fabricated Experiences, manipulated evidence, or deliberately misleading claims.
Impersonation, spam, scams, coordinated harassment, or attempts to manipulate CheckHer's community systems.
Hateful or discriminatory attacks against individuals or groups.
CheckHer is intended for users aged 18 and older.
Do not create an Experience about, identify, depict, discuss, or upload images of a person who is under 18 in connection with dating or relationship content.
Do not use CheckHer to expose someone's private information. Only include information reasonably necessary to describe your personal relationship experience.
Information can still identify someone even when you do not publish their full name. Combining multiple details can make a person identifiable.
Full legal names

Schools or universities
Private social media accounts

Exact real-time locations
Other information intended to help strangers locate or contact someone
Some information is especially private and can cause serious harm when disclosed publicly. Do not reveal another person's sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary to describe your own experience and you are legally entitled to share it.
CheckHer may restrict or remove sensitive information even where the surrounding Experience would otherwise be allowed.
Medical or health information
Sexual history or intimate details
Pregnancy information
Sexual orientation or gender identity disclosed without consent
Financial problems or private financial information
Private family matters
Other highly sensitive personal information that is not necessary to describe the Experience
Users may describe difficult or serious experiences that happened to them. However, CheckHer must not be used to make knowingly false accusations, fabricate evidence, or present speculation as confirmed fact.
When discussing allegations involving criminal conduct, violence, abuse, sexual conduct, fraud, health information, or other highly sensitive matters, describe what you personally experienced as accurately as possible.
Content may be restricted or removed when necessary to protect privacy, safety, or the rights of another person.
Only upload images or other media that you have the necessary right or permission to share.
A photo being publicly available on another website or social media account does not automatically mean you have permission to upload it to CheckHer.
Do not upload intimate or sexually explicit images of another person.
Do not upload private images obtained without permission.
Do not upload images for the purpose of humiliating, exposing, or targeting someone.
Do not upload screenshots that reveal private contact information or conversations.
Do not upload copyrighted material unless you have the necessary rights to use it.
CheckHer may remove or restrict media where necessary to protect privacy, safety, intellectual property, or other rights.
Private messages, direct messages, emails, voice messages, private photos, or other private communications should not be published without the necessary permission or legal basis.
If you need to explain something that happened in a private conversation, describe the experience in your own words instead of publishing the private conversation itself.
Do not use CheckHer to organize other people against someone.
Do not encourage users to message or contact the person discussed.
Do not encourage users to find someone's social media profiles.
Do not organize harassment, review bombing, threats, or public shaming.
Do not ask other users to publish additional private information about someone.
Do not repeatedly create Experiences, comments, accounts, or other content for the purpose of targeting the same person.
CheckHer may consider repeated behavior, context, severity, previous moderation actions, and the apparent purpose of the content when deciding whether activity amounts to harassment or revenge behavior.
Different people may have different experiences with the same person. Users may disagree with an Experience or comment, but discussion must remain respectful.
Insults, threats, discriminatory attacks, harassment, or attempts to organize users against another person are not permitted.
Criticize ideas, behavior, or relationship patterns without attacking another user's identity or dignity.
If you believe content violates these Community Guidelines, use CheckHer's reporting tools.
CheckHer may review reported content and may also take action when violations become apparent through other means.
Moderation decisions may consider the content itself, context, severity, repetition, potential harm, previous violations, and other relevant circumstances.
Removing or restricting content
Removing images or other media
Limiting access to certain features
Issuing warnings
Temporarily suspending accounts
Permanently banning accounts
Restricting repeated attempts to repost removed content
Community Guidelines reports and legal content reports are not necessarily the same thing.
If you believe content is unlawful, violates your rights, or concerns you personally, CheckHer will provide a dedicated content reporting and removal process.
That process may request information such as the content being reported, where it appears on CheckHer, why you believe it should be removed, and information necessary for CheckHer to review and respond to the request.
You do not need to create a CheckHer account simply to report content that you believe violates your rights.
Do not attempt to evade a moderation decision.
Do not repost content that was removed without correcting the violation.
Do not create additional accounts to evade an account restriction or ban.
Do not alter names, images, or identifying information solely to bypass a moderation decision.
Do not encourage another user to repost prohibited content for you.
CheckHer is not an emergency service, law-enforcement agency, medical service, or professional crisis service.
If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services or local authorities instead of relying on CheckHer.
These rules apply to Experiences, comments, replies, profile information, images, direct messages where applicable, usernames, and other content or activity on CheckHer.
A particular type of behavior does not become acceptable simply because it occurs in a different part of the platform.
A relationship ending badly does not give anyone the right to harm another person.
CheckHer exists for understanding, awareness, reflection, learning, and sharing personal experiences — not punishment.
Rules may evolve
CheckHer may update these Community Guidelines as the platform develops, new risks appear, or legal and safety requirements change. Users are expected to follow the version currently in effect when using CheckHer.
